LEYDEN LS-LDN753 5.8GHz Microwave Motion Sensor
The LEYDEN LS-LDN753 is a concealed ceiling-mounted microwave motion sensor designed for automatic lighting control in homes, offices, commercial buildings, corridors, staircases, washrooms, parking areas, warehouses, hotels, hospitals, and educational institutions.
Unlike conventional PIR sensors, the LS-LDN753 utilizes 5.8GHz CW microwave radar technology, allowing motion detection through glass, doors, and thin non-metallic walls while maintaining high sensitivity and reliability.
The sensor automatically switches connected lighting ON when movement is detected and turns it OFF after the preset delay, helping reduce unnecessary electricity consumption.
Three adjustable controls allow users to configure:
- Detection Distance
- Time Delay
- Ambient Light Threshold
Its compact concealed ceiling design provides a clean appearance while offering dependable indoor occupancy sensing.

Wiring
Terminal Connections
L → Live Input (Phase)

L' → Switched Live Output to Load
Neutral of the load connects directly to Neutral supply.
Installation Steps
- Switch OFF the mains power.
- Remove the transparent bottom cover.
- Connect wiring according to the wiring diagram.
- Tighten terminal screws securely.
- Reinstall the transparent cover.
- Compress both spring clips.
- Insert the sensor into the ceiling cut-out.
- Release spring clips to lock the sensor.
- Restore power.
- Test the sensor operation.
Adjustment Settings
TIME
Adjusts how long the light remains ON after motion stops.

LUX
Controls the ambient light level at which the sensor operates.

Testing Procedure
- Set LUX to Sun.
- Set SENS to Maximum.
- Set TIME to Minimum.
- Turn ON power.
- Light turns ON immediately.
- After approximately 10 seconds, the light turns OFF.
- Walk into the detection area.
- The light should switch ON automatically.
- Every new movement restarts the timer.
- For night-only operation, rotate the LUX control toward 3 Lux.
Safety Instructions
- Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Disconnect power before wiring.
- Indoor use only (IP20).
- Do not install on vibrating or unstable surfaces.
- Keep away from large metal surfaces that may affect microwave sensing.
